The Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF) is a multilateral partnership between the governments of Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Solomon Islands, and Timor-Leste (the “CT6”). The partnership aims to sustain extraordinary marine and coastal resources by addressing crucial issues such as food security, climate change, and marine biodiversity. The CTI-CFF was officially established along with its Secretariat during the Summit of Heads of States of the CT6 in 2009, as stated in the "CTI Leader's Declaration".

Executive Director of the Regional Secretariat CTI-CFF, Widi Pratikto, Ph.D. (right), accompanies the Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF), Sjarief Widjaja, Ph.D., FRINA (center right), during the final wrap-up meeting for the Host Country Agreement (HCA) between the Government of Indonesia and the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat on Privileges and Immunities, held with the Director General for Legal Affairs and Treaties of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOF), Ferry Adamhar, in Jakarta.

The Regional Environment Office of USAID RIDMA conducted a two-day visit to the Regional Secretariat (RS) of CTI-CFF in Jakarta. Alfred Nakatsuma, Director (center), and Rene Acosta, Program Manager (left), briefed the RS CTI-CFF staff, accompanied by Widi Pratikto, Ph.D., Executive Director of RS CTI-CFF.

The Regional Environment Office of USAID RIDMA paid a two-day visit to the Regional Secretariat (RS) of CTI-CFF to establish a cooperation platform between the two institutions.
