We at the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat express our deepest condolences and sympathies to the families and colleagues of the victims of the mass shootings at Al Noor Mosque and Linwood Mosque during Friday prayers in Christchurch, New Zealand. In particular, our sympathies go to the Governments of Indonesia and Malaysia, as member parties of the CTI-CFF.

We pray for strength for the families and colleagues of the victims during this difficult time. We stand in love and solidarity with you all.

On 13 March 2019, the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat signed a Cooperation Agreement with PT Garuda Indonesia Manado to provide flexible services for all Garuda flight routes and other corporate privileges offered by Garuda, its group, and SkyTeam. The CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat was represented by Interim Executive Director Dr. Hendra Yusran Siry, while PT Garuda Indonesia Manado was represented by General Manager Mac Fee Kindangen.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mr. Antonio de Jesus, Chief of the Department of Technology Innovations and Fish Disease – General Directorate of Fisheries, Timor-Leste’s Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, and a member of Timor-Leste’s CTI-CFF National Coordinating Committee.

Mr. de Jesus had been an active participant in CTI-CFF technical working group activities, senior official meetings, and CTI committees, including the RPOA 2.0 Steering Committee/Task Group and the Internal Resource Committee.
