Happy Independence Day, Papua New Guinea!

CTI-CFF commends Papua New Guinea’s enduring efforts in addressing food security and climate change, as well as protecting marine and coastal ecosystems. These efforts will undoubtedly bring positive outcomes for the people of the Coral Triangle Region.

We wish everyone celebrating today—in Papua New Guinea, across the Coral Triangle Region, and around the world—a healthy, safe, and happy Independence Day.

On behalf of the member countries of the Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF), and the management and staff of the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat, I am honored to extend my sincere congratulations to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Malaysia on the occasion of the 64th Anniversary of Malaysia’s Independence Day.
