As a representative of USAID RDMA, Ms. Araya Poomsaringkarn visited the Regional Secretariat with a team from USAID SUFIA TS, led by Mr. John Parks. During the meeting, they discussed priority activities supported by both USAID SUFIA TS and USAID RDMA.

On 5 August 2022, the Executive Director of the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat, Dr. Mohd Kushairi Mohd Rajuddin, visited the Philippine Consulate General in Manado to pay respects and sign the condolences book for the passing of the former 12th President of the Philippines, Fidel Valdez Ramos, who passed away on 31 July 2022.

The CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat attended the Commemoration of 2022 Coral Triangle Day at the Kurma Asih Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Perancak Village, Jembrana, Bali on 29 July 2022.

The SUFIA Local Capacity Development (LCD) Activity Close Out event was conducted on 19 July 2022. The SUFIA LCD Activity project is a collaborative partnership between USAID and CTI-CFF, aimed at enhancing CTI-CFF’s capacities for compliance with USAID requirements as a Public International Organization (PIO).
