The CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat attended the Commemoration of 2022 Coral Triangle Day at the Kurma Asih Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Perancak Village, Jembrana, Bali on 29 July 2022.

The event was organized by the Directorate General of Marine Spatial Management, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) of Indonesia, in collaboration with PT Astra Daihatsu Motor and the Kurma Asih Sea Turtle Conservation Center. Representing the Director General of Marine Spatial Management was Mr. Muhammad Yusuf, S.Hut, M.Si., Director of Marine, Coastal Region and Small Islands, MMAF.
The day's activities began with the release of 366 sea turtle hatchlings and a beach cleanup, attended by the Regional Secretariat’s Technical Program Manager, Mr. Muhammad Ichsan.

The next program was a talk show on sea turtle conservation, facilitated by Mr. Permana Yudiarso, ST., MT., from the Marine and Coastal Resources Management Unit (BPSPL) Denpasar. The Executive Director of CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat, Dr. Mohd Kushairi Mohd Rajuddin, delivered a presentation on the role of CTI-CFF in sea turtle conservation in the Coral Triangle. He was one of four speakers invited to share their knowledge and experiences, alongside Dr. Iman Wahyudin, Sub-Coordinator of Marine Species Protection, Directorate of Marine Conservation and Biodiversity, MMAF; Mr. Dede Dwicahyo, Head of CSR Department, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor; and Mr. Wayan Anom Astika, Leader of the Kurma Asih Sea Turtle Conservation Center.
