The Second Day of the Visit to Timor-Leste

On the second day of the visit to Timor-Leste, the Executive Director of the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat met with the Chair of the Council of Ministers (COM) of CTI-CFF, Hon. Pedro dos Reis, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of Timor-Leste.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and was attended by the Director General for Fisheries, the National Director for Aquaculture and Saliculture, and the Director General for Multilateral Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

The discussion was productive, and the Timor-Leste Government expressed strong enthusiasm in its role as the leader of CTI-CFF, committing to provide support and guidance wherever necessary. The Minister expressed his hope that under his leadership, CTI-CFF will successfully implement the Regional Conservation Trust Fund initiative and, most importantly, advance the execution of conservation efforts.
