RS Visit to Papua New Guinea - Day #3 20 July 2016 - 1

The CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat (RS), accompanied by the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (CEPA) of Papua New Guinea and NCC CTI-CFF PNG, paid a courtesy visit to the Indonesian Embassy in Port Moresby.

H.E. Ambassador Ronald Manik of Indonesia to PNG warmly welcomed the distinguished guests.

During the visit, the Executive Director of CTI-CFF highlighted the following points:

1. The ratification process of the Agreement on the Establishment of CTI-CFF by the Government of PNG is underway.
2. The RS CTI-CFF is expecting a confirmation letter from the Government of PNG regarding the conduct of SOM-12 and MM-6, scheduled for 31 October – 3 November 2016 in Port Moresby, PNG.
