Malaysian Embassy Visit to Regional Secretariat

The Malaysian Embassy delegation, led by the Deputy Chief of Mission to Indonesia, Mr. Adlan bin Mohd. Shaffieq, visited the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat on Saturday, 15 October 2022, during their trip to Manado for a meeting with the Governor of North Sulawesi. HE Adlan was accompanied by Mr. Mohd Fuad Mat Sari, Minister Counsellor Economic Mr. Mohd. Najeeb Abdullah, and Head of Council Tourism Malaysia, Mr. Junus Suhid.

The visit to the CTI-CFF RS Globe Building was the final activity before the delegation returned to Jakarta, following a tour of the underwater beauty of Bunaken National Park and a dinner at Grand Luley, Manado, with Dr. Moh. Kushairi bin Moh. Rajuddin, Executive Director of CTI-CFF RS, and the staff the previous day.

This cordial meeting included discussions about the initiatives of the six Coral Triangle countries, the richness of marine life in the region, and how CTI-CFF functions as an organization to support regional marine conservation and sustainable development.
