Images of Coral Triangle Day 2014: Local Governments Speak Up

At a 2-day workshop that started today in Buleleng District, Bali, Indonesia, Mayor Hugua, Bupati (Regent) of Wakatobi District, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, called for more attention, authority, and resources to be given to local authorities who have jurisdiction over vital marine and coastal resources in the Coral Triangle. Organized by Indonesia's Ministry of Home Affairs as part of the Coral Triangle Day 2014 celebrations, the workshop focused on the role of local governments in implementing the CTI-CFF National Plans of Action.
