Happy Independence Day Malaysia!

On behalf of the member countries of the Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF), and the management and staff of the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat, I am honored to extend my sincere congratulations to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Malaysia on the occasion of the 64th Anniversary of Malaysia’s Independence Day.

In this time of both challenges and opportunities, the partnership between the Government of Malaysia and the member countries of CTI-CFF is more important than ever. The strong cooperation and relations we have built over the years will surely continue to flourish, supporting our shared goal of ensuring food security and sustainable livelihoods in the Coral Triangle region.

May Allah, the Almighty, grant peace, good health, progress, and prosperity to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Malaysia today and in the years ahead.
