The primary goal of the training initiative is to introduce and pilot a pioneering Gender Integration in Small-Scale Fisheries Training Module in Southeast Asia, blending traditional methods with modern approaches. This innovative endeavor aims to produce a meticulously reviewed Training Module and Manual by the conclusion of the pilot session, ensuring its readiness for broader use.

Documents generated from workshops and meetings will contribute to the finalization of the draft CTI WLF (Women Leaders in Fisheries) materials, reinforcing our commitment to gender equality and empowerment. An Activity/Workshop Report will encapsulate the journey, documenting insights and progress achieved during this transformative training initiative.

The broader impact is envisioned through the adoption of the revised Gender Integration Training Module for continued use in future sessions beyond 2023. This milestone aligns with the establishment of the proposed Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Hub in 2024, highlighting our ongoing commitment to fostering inclusive practices and sustainable fisheries within Southeast Asia.
