Financial Resource Strategy Expert Workshop for RPOA 2.0 Held

As a follow-up activity for the renewal of the CTI-CFF Regional Plan of Action (RPOA 2.0), the CTI-CFF gathered financial experts from the CT6 member countries, international financial institutions, and organizations advocating marine and environmental conservation for a two-day Financial Resource Strategy Expert Workshop.

The workshop aimed to share relevant expertise to draft a resource mobilization plan in support of the RPOA 2.0, as well as to compile recommendations for a sustainable finance mechanism.

The workshop drew insights from subject-matter experts and examined examples from other regional initiatives.

The activity, held in Singapore, concluded on 1 August 2019. CTI-CFF extended its appreciation to the Wildlife Conservation Society for providing the venue for the workshop.
