The Coral Triangle Women Leaders' Forum (WLF) is proud to announce our new Co-Chair, Ms. Laura Whitford from The Nature Conservancy!

Laura Whitford is the Director of Marine Strategies and Partnerships for The Nature Conservancy's Asia Pacific Program. She has worked on international environment and climate change issues for over 14 years, focusing primarily on policy and government relations in support of conservation initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region.

She leads TNC’s engagement with the six-country Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF) and is proud to have helped establish the CTI-CFF Women Leaders’ Forum. She is passionate about the intersection of women’s empowerment, natural resource management, and community development.

She holds graduate degrees in Environment and Development, Communication Management, and Psychology, and is based in Melbourne, Australia.
