Coordination Meeting of Host Country Representatives and the Regional Secretariat

Representatives of the Host Country Agreement and the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat held a coordination meeting on 29 April 2021. The Host Country representatives were led by Mr. Agung Prasetyo, Head of Public Relations and International Cooperation of the Indonesia Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF). He was joined by Dr. Hendra Yusran Siry, Secretary of the Directorate General of Marine Spatial Management of MMAF, Mr. Wahyu Hari Satrio from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Aldi Triyanto from the State Secretariat, as well as Mr. Marcus Daniel Wicaksono, Mr. Tommy Pratama, Mr. Fernando Esa Roswana, and Mr. R. Rizki Andhitya Yunanto from MMAF.

At the meeting, Dr. Mohd Kushairi Mohd Rajuddin, Executive Director of the Regional Secretariat, updated the delegates on the finalization status of the draft Host Country Agreement (HCA), draft Regional Plan of Action (RPOA 2.0), and draft Staff Policies and Procedure Manual (SPPM). Dr. Kushairi also shared efforts by the Secretariat to expedite the completion of the HCA documents via the proposed In-Situ Virtual Meeting Participation (In-situ VMP).

The delegates expressed their support for the activities being conducted by the Regional Secretariat and provided guidance regarding the request for an extension of the draft HCA.
