In a spirit of shared commitment to advancing sustainable development, a delegation of distinguished professors from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, embarked on a journey to the heart of North Sulawesi. This academic endeavor, known as the 'Professors go to Frontiers' program, was organized by the Board of Professors of UGM, with a focused agenda centered on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Under the overarching theme of "Collaboration for the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in North Sulawesi: Boundary Integrity, Technology, and the Enhancement of Maritime Economy and Marine Tourism," the professors visited the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat in Manado and were warmly welcomed by the Deputy Executive Director for Corporate Services, Mr. Gustaaf Lumiu.

The visit to the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat was one facet of a broader expedition to North Sulawesi, where the esteemed professors engaged with a diverse range of stakeholders. Their journey included meetings with provincial and district authorities, coastal communities, and accomplished professionals. During the meeting at the Regional Secretariat, ideas and knowledge were exchanged seamlessly, sparking innovative discussions and collaborative concepts between the professors and the Secretariat team.
