Improving Fisheries Statistics in the Philippines Workshop

Improving fisheries statistics in the Philippines with focus on subsistence fisheries: a first step in improving existing data collection method. 

The workshop will have the national government, namely the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and Bureau of Agricultural Statistics (BAS) of the Philippines, who are both in charge of data collection of some form, to understand how the collection process can be enhanced by utilizing the data collected by local governments and vice versa.
